Experience the 20th edition of the VolCAT
CATEGORY XCO UCI C3 STAGE 1 AND STAGE 3 | SINGLE VENUE: IGUALADA
OVERVIEW 2025
VolCAT by SCOTT 2025 will take place at Easter on 18-19-20 April.
An adventure shared once again this year by hundreds of people from more than 20 countries around the world. For some, it is a race to score UCI points and battle to conquer one of the most emblematic stage MTB podiums. For others, it is a challenge in which enjoyment, passion and the desire for personal improvement lead them to pedal until they cross the finish line and finish one of the historic events on the calendar.
A real spectacle of pure mountain biking.
STAGE 1
IGUALADA
The party begins with a physical and technical day that will test the participants’ ability to dose their strength. The day will be spent almost entirely on trails of all kinds, with demanding ascents and descents. With an explosive start, the runners will have to know how to save their energy for a second half which, although gentler, will also require a considerable effort.
RACE CUT OFF
The organization reserves the right to withdraw any cyclist riding at a pace of less than 10 km/h, regardless of the point at which the cyclist is found.
STAGE 2
IGUALADA
The second day will offer a longer stage, with the start and finish sharing the same flat stage. Despite the first impressions, the quadriceps will soon start to accumulate positive elevation gain, although in this case the climbs will be more spread out in an almost constant seesaw throughout the route.
As the kilometres go by, the riders will find themselves on a loop of trails that will captivate and allow them to enjoy real mountain biking to the full.

STAGE 3
IGUALADA
VolCAT by SCOTT 2025 will end this year’s edition with a stage in true VolCAT style. The adventure will conclude with a short and intense day, without so much elevation gain but marked by the continuous trails that the participants will have to ride.
An exciting route with enough personality to make this stage an unforgettable memory.
